About Me
I’m Victoria Lilly and I am a North East wedding Photographer, who is based in Consett.
I also run a home studio for Newborn Photography and Cake Smash Shoots.

Hobbies
When I am not on the school run or photographing, you will find me on the beach… and yep I generally have my camera there as well! As a family we love the great outdoors, if we’re not out walking we will be in the garden firing up the bbq and when I say we, I mean… my husband cooks and I drink rose.
As much as I love summer, I am crazy about Christmas! I just love nothing more than getting all cosy on the sofa, watching Christmas movies and eating family size bars of chocolate while the tree is twinkling away.
Another passion of mine is all things Disney!!! I just love everything about it from the movies to the theme parks… I just can’t get enough of it!
For me life is all about having fun, meeting new people and making amazing memories!
My
Passion
From a young age when I received my first camera I just knew I wanted to be a photographer. I loved the idea that I could tell a story without having to say a word. As a family we often put the kettle on, get out the biscuit tin and sit around the table and reminiscing over old family photographs.
At 10 years old I attended my first wedding and that was when my love story with wedding photography began. I was in awe of the atmosphere and the buzz of waiting for the bride to arrive and how everyone held their breath as she walked through the door. I loved the challenge of trying to capture all of this emotion in one shot, and as they say the rest is history.
After school I followed my creative flair in a foundation degree in fine art followed by moving to the University of Lancashire to complete a degree in photography. Here I focused on documentary, portrait, and fashion photography, which has inspired my work ever since.
