Situated on the border between County Durham and Northumberland the views around the hotel are picturesque from every angle and from a photographic point of view offers some fantastic photographic backdrops what ever the time of year.
The Garden Room is fantastic suite for those looking for a intimate wedding of under 60 guests.
The Allensford suit offers a modern country feel and can hold weddings up to 150-180 guests. The room is split into two levels and the lower level supplies your own personal bar and bar tender so guests never have to go far to top their glass.
The Grand Hall is one of the largest wedding suits I have photographed across the North East holding 200-250 wedding guests. The suit holds its own balcony for reception drinks and housing two private bars its a great venue for keeping all the party together. The Stairs to the balcony make a grand entrance for those having a civil ceremony or simply for being announced as a newlyweds.
This is a great venue for those who have friends and family across the North East as it offerers 48 bedrooms so your guests can party with you till the early hours of the morning and then eat breakfast with you the following day.
This venue is a big hit for bride and grooms as it offers something special what ever the time of year. The Images below are from a January, April, July and December wedding.
